D-Day 80 Celebrations - Saturday 8th June

On the 8th June, we will be holding a 1940’s style tea in the church.

Everyone is welcome, and it would be lovely to see some 40’s outfits and accessories!

D-Day 80 cont....

Empire Medals have produced a pin badge for D-Day 80 (6th June). It has been designed to assist in the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, allowing those who purchase one to pay tribute to past family members involved in D-Day in 1944, and/or WWII as a whole

Art Exhibition - Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th August

Our annual Art Festival takes place on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th September

Friday 23rd – Preview Evening with drinks and canapes. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Saturday 24th – Open all day. FREE entry. Tea, coffee, and homemade cakes available.


Saturday 24th September is also the date Thornton Curtis village is hosting the Care After Combat Bike Festival.

A look back at 2023

Two popular annual events, the Art Festival, and the Harvest Service, Supper and Auction, raised over £5,500 during September and October. The money will enable the completion of some repairs to the church, and go towards the day-to-day running
